LIGHTING: PERSONAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT OVERHEAD JUNCTION BLOCK (PERSONAL LIGHT)

(a) Disconnect the R5 connector from the personal light.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage:





If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

(d) Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the (-) lead to terminal 18.





(e) Check that the personal light comes on.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the overhead J/B assembly.
