Installation





2UR-GSE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
* Do not smoke or work near an open flame when handling the fuel system.
* Keep gasoline away from rubber or leather parts.
* Do not allow fuel to spray when removing the pipe between the high pressure side fuel pump and the fuel injector. The fuel in the pipe is highly pressurized.
2. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR

(a) Install a new gasket to the fuel pressure sensor.

(b) Using SST, install the fuel pressure sensor to the fuel delivery pipe.





SST : 09922-10010

without SST - Torque : 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

with SST - Torque : 40 Nm (409 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
* Do not apply oil to the threads of the pressure sensor and delivery pipe.
* Do not allow foreign matter to enter the pipe during installation.

HINT
* Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.).
* Make sure that SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.

(c) Connect the connector.





3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the intake air surge tank assembly Installation.

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

7. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

8. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK Fuel System
