PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING ECU: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

3. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH

4. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH

5. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE ROPE HOOK Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK Removal

12. REMOVE SIDE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal

13. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (w/o Pre-collision System)

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the 2 nuts and clearance warning ECU.

14. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (w/ Pre-collision System)

(a) Disconnect the connectors.





(b) Remove the 3 nuts and remove the seat belt control ECU and the clearance warning ECU as a unit.

(c) Remove the 2 nuts and clearance warning ECU.
