Removal

AA80E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SPEED SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

2. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID Removal

4. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NT

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Using a T30 ''TORX'' wrench, remove the bolt and speed sensor from the oil pump.

(c) Remove the O-ring from the speed sensor.

8. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NC3

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the transmission case.

9. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR SP2

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the transmission case.
