EXTERIOR: RADIATOR GRILLE: REASSEMBLY

HINT
When installing the emblem, heat the radiator grille and emblem using a heat light.

Standard:





NOTICE:
Do not heat the radiator grille or emblem excessively.

1. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM BASE (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Attach the claw to install the radiator grille emblem base.

(b) Install 2 new spring nuts.

2. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Clean the radiator grille surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Install a new radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille and a new radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

NOTICE:
After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

(2) Align the boss positions and install the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

NOTICE:
Press the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem firmly to install it.





3. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Attach the claw to install the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

(b) Install 2 new spring nuts.

4. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

(a) When using a new radiator grille protector:

(1) Clean the radiator grille surface.

(2) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille surface.

(b) When reusing the radiator grille protector:





(1) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille and radiator grille protector.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner

(4) Install new double-sided tape to the radiator grille protector as shown in the illustration.

(c) Install the radiator grille protector.

(1) Attach the 9 clips to install the radiator grille protector.

(2) Remove the peeling paper from the radiator grille protector and attach the double-sided tape to the radiator grille.

NOTICE:
Press the radiator grille protector firmly to install it.
