Installation

HYBRID BATTERY CONTROL: HV RELAY ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ELECTRIC VEHICLE FUSE

(a) Install the 2 electric vehicle fuses with the 4 bolts.





Torque : 4.5 Nm (46 kgf-cm, 40 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
Be sure to use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts.

2. INSTALL HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

(a) Connect the 8 connectors.

(b) Install the hybrid battery junction block assembly with the 3 nuts.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL HYBRID BATTERY TERMINAL BLOCK





CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

(a) Install the hybrid battery terminal block with the 3 nuts and bolt in the order shown in the illustration.

for bolt - Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

for nut (Except hybrid battery junction block assembly terminal) - Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

for nut (Hybrid battery junction block assembly terminal) - Torque : 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
Be sure to follow the order shown when tightening the nuts and bolt.

4. INSTALL NO. 4 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD REINFORCEMENT





CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

(a) Install the No. 4 hybrid vehicle battery shield reinforcement with the 3 nuts.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

5. INSTALL NO. 3 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT Installation

6. INSTALL REAR HYBRID BATTERY WITH LABEL SHIELD Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT Installation

8. INSTALL BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY (for Lower Side) Installation

9. INSTALL NO. 4 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY CARRIER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL NO. 4 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT Installation

12. INSTALL BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY (for Upper Side) Installation

13. INSTALL NO. 6 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

14. INSTALL HV BATTERY

(a) Install the HV battery to the vehicle Installation.
