Removal

L110F HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
* After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER CENTER Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal

7. SEPARATE OIL COOLER TUBE

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and separate the oil cooler tube.

8. SEPARATE FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Set the shift lever to the neutral position.

(b) Remove the nut, and separate the floor shift gear shifting rod sub-assembly.

9. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

(a) Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.

(b) Remove the nut, washer and transmission control shaft lever.

(d) Remove the lock nut and lock washer.

(e) Remove the 2 bolts and park/neutral position switch.
