Installation





2GR-FXE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)

(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

(b) Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly with the bolt.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or does not jump out of position during installation.

(c) Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.

2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)

(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

(b) Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly with the bolt.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or does not jump out of position during installation.

(c) Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.

3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE Installation

5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) Coolant (for Engine)

6. INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) On-Vehicle Inspection

7. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

(a) Start the engine, and check that there are no oil leaks.

8. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

9. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

10. INSTALL INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

12. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER CAP (w/ Air Suspension) Installation

14. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the windshield wiper motor and link assembly Installation.

15. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
