Cylinder Head Bolts

Step 1 36 Nm (367 kgf-cm, 26 ft-lbf)
Step 2 Tighten 90°
Step 3 Tighten additional 90°

Tighten the 2 bolts 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)

Cylinder Head Bolt Inspection

Measure diameter of the threads at measurement point.

Standard diameter 10.85 to 11.00 mm (0.4272 to 0.4330 in.)
Minimum diameter 10.70 mm (0.4212 in.)

Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts

Bank 2, Left Hand
Temporarily tighten the 8 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

Tighten the 8 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque : 16 Nm (163 kgf-cm, 12 ft-lbf)

Bank 1, Right Hand
Temporarily tighten the 8 bearing cap bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

Tighten the 8 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
