Test 10, Module to Coil Wire

Module To Coil Wire Tests:

Procedure
1. With ignition Off", insert straight pin in module green wire Fig. 1.

NOTE: Do not allow straight pin to contact engine ground.

2. Using a suitable voltmeter connect negative lead to ground.
3. Turn ignition On, then measure voltage at green wire pin and Tach. terminal of ignition coil, Fig. 1.
4. If voltmeter shows less than 1/2 volt difference, circuit is satisfactory. If more than 1/2 volt difference, inspect and repair wiring harness between coil and module.
