Blower Motor: Service and Repair

Fig. 30 Blower motor & wheel assembly removal:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect blower motor lead connector from wiring harness hard shell connector.
3. Remove blower motor cooling tube from blower motor.
4. Remove blower motor retaining screws, Fig. 30.
5. Rotate blower motor slightly to the right so bottom edge of mounting plate follows contour of wheel well splash panel. Then lift blower motor up and out of housing assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
