Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

There are two failure modes possible for the In-Car Temperature Sensor:
1. Short Circuit - The control system assumes that the in-car temperature is very hot and will cause the blend door to remain in the full cold position regardless of the position of the temperature lever on the control head.
2. Open Circuit - The control system assumes that the in-car temperature is very cold and will cause the blend door to remain in the full heat position regardless of the position of the temperature lever on the control head.
