Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments
EARLY PRODUCTION
1. Remove cable retaining clip.
2. Pull actuator cable end tube to take up any slack in cable.
3. Maintaining a light tension on cable, insert cable retaining clip and snap into place.
4. Verify that throttle linkage operates freely and smoothly.
LATE PRODUCTION
1. Remove retaining clip from actuator cable adjuster at throttle.
2. Ensure throttle is in fully closed position.
3. Pull on actuator cable to take up slack, then loosen at least one notch so there is approximately .118 inch (3mm) of slack in cable.
4. Insert cable clip and snap into place.
5. Ensure that throttle linkage operates freely and smoothly.
