Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1. Remove release retainers and lower glove compartment door.
2. Remove recirc duct support bracket retaining screw.
3. Remove electrical connector retaining screw, then disconnect three connectors from bracket and remove bracket.
4. Remove vacuum connection to recirc door vacuum motor, then disconnect aspirator hoses from muffler.
5. Remove six recirc duct attaching screws.
6. Remove recirc duct from evaporator assembly from between instrument panel and evaporator case.
7. Disconnect blower motor electrical lead.
8. Remove blower motor wheel assembly attaching nut, then remove wheel.
9. Remove four blower motor attaching screws, then remove the motor from evaporator case.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
