Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments

Fig. 13 Actuator Cable. Crown Victoria, Town Car, Mark VII & Grand Marquis:

1. Remove retaining clip from actuator cable adjuster at throttle.
2. Ensure throttle is in fully closed position.
3. Pull on actuator cable to take up slack, then loosen at least one notch so there is approximately 0.118 inch (3mm) of slack in cable.
4. Insert cable clip and snap into place.
5. Ensure throttle linkage operates freely and smoothly.
