XB101 - Check WAC Circuit Harness Continuity

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnected Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Disconnect Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Measure resistance between test pin 54 at the breakout box and Pin 11 of the VCRM vehicle harness connector.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to XB102. XB102 - Check WAC Circuit For Short to Power

No -- Service open Wide Open Throttle A/C Cut-Off (WAC) circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.
