XB102 - Check WAC Circuit For Short to Power



- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM) disconnected.

- Key "ON".

- Measure voltage between test pin 54 and test pin 40 at the breakout box.

- Key "OFF".

- Was boltage less than 1.0 volt?

Yes -- Go to XB103. XB103 - Check VCRM WAC Circuitry

No -- Service short to power in Wide Open Throttle A/C Cut-Off (WAC) circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.
