XB130 - Check Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) Switch

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch (verify switch is reset).

- Measure resistance between the C (common) and NC (normally closed) pins of the IFS switch.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Reconnect IFS switch. Refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction to check for open in power-to-pump circuit from Fuel Pump Monitor (FPM) splice to fuel pump, open circuit in fuel pump, poor fuel pump ground, etc. After service, rerun quick test. No -- Reset or replace IFS switch. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
