XB146 - Check Power to Pump Circuit Continuity



- Key "OFF".

- High Speed Fuel Pump (HFP) relay disconnected.

- Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM) disconnected.

High Fuel Pump Relay Connector:






- Measure resistance between Pin 24 of the VCRM vehicle harness connector and the power-to-pump circuit at the HFP relay vehicle harness connector.

- Is resistance less than 10 ohms?

Yes -- Replace VCRM. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Service open in power-to-pump circuit between VCRM and Fuel Pump Monitor (FPM) splice. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
