XB59 - Check ACP Circuit For Short to Power

- Key "OFF".

- A/C Pressure (ACP) sensor disconnected.

- Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM) disconnected.

- Key "ON".

- Measure voltage between the ACP circuit at the ACP sensor vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Key "OFF".

- Was the voltage less than 1.0 volt?

Yes -- Go to XB60. XB60 - Test Lamp At A/C Clutch Will Turn On With ACP Grounded

No -- Service ACP circuit short to power. Remove test lamp and jumper. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

A/C "OFF", Start engine. Turn A/C "ON", wait 20 seconds. Key "OFF", A/C "OFF". Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
