Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove throttle body.

2. Remove rubber boot covering from Throttle Position (TP) sensor.

3. Remove two TP sensor retaining screws from throttle body.

4. Remove TP sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. To install TP sensor, reverse removal procedure.

2. Tighten retaining screws to 2.8-3.8 Nm (25-34 in lb). Cycle throttle lever to fully open. It should return without interference.
