Secondary Chain

CAUTION: Ensure camshaft locking tools are in place before loosening or tightening cam sprocket bolts. Engine damage will result if tools are not properly installed.

1. Remove primary timing chain.
2. Compress and lock spring loaded secondary timing chain tensioner.
3. Remove retaining bolt from intake camshafts. Note position of all spacers sprockets and washers for later assembly.
4. Remove secondary timing chain and sprockets.
5. Remove bolts retaining secondary timing chain tensioner to head, then remove tensioner.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
