Fuel Pump Driver Module
DESCRIPTIONThe
Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM) receives duty cycle signals from the
Powertrain Control Module (PCM), and controls the
fuel pump operation. This results in variable speed fuel pump operation.
OPERATIONBy controlling the pump speed, electrical power use is minimized and the amount of hot fuel being returned to the
fuel tank is reduced.
