XB165 - Check HFP Circuit Continuity



- Key "OFF".

- High Speed Fuel Pump (HFP) relay disconnected.

- Disconnect Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Measure resistance between Pin 10 of the VCRM vehicle harness connector and the HFP circuit at the HFP relay vehicle harness connector.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to XB166. XB166 - Check HFP Circuit For Short to Power

No -- Service open in HFP circuit. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom. The HFP relay vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.
