XB3 - Check SIG RTN Continuity

- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed.

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

- Measure resistance between test pin 46 and SIG RTN in Data Link Connector (DLC).

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to XB4. XB4 - Check PCM Power Ground Circuits

No -- Service open in SIG RTN circuit. Remove breakout box, reconnect PCM. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
