Steering Control Module: Service and Repair

NOTE: The VAPS module is located below the instrument panel on the righthand side of the steering column.

1. Remove four instrument panel cover attaching screws, then the cover.
2. Remove three sound package insulation push pins, then the sound package.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors.
4. Remove module.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque screws to 35-45 in lb.
