Pressure Feedback Exhaust Sensor: Service and Repair

EGR Pressure Valve Sensor:





1. Remove engine appearance cover, air cleaner outlet tube and engine intake air resonator.
2. Disconnect fuel charging wiring from Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) backpressure transducer.
3. Disconnect fuel charge wiring from EGR backpressure transducer.
4. Remove EGR backpressure transducer retaining nuts and EGR backpressure transducer from EGR backpressure transducer bracket.
5. If required, remove EGR backpressure transducer bracket from the LH cylinder head.
6. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten EGR backpressure transducer bracket bolts to 8-12 Nm (71-106 lb in). Tighten EGR backpressure transducer retaining nuts to 5-7 Nm (40-61 lb in).
