Accessing Expanded Diagnostic Protocols

ACCESSING EXPANDED DIAGNOSTIC PROTOCOLS
- Perform the necessary vehicle preparation and visual inspection.
- Connect Scan Tool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn ignition key to the ON position.
- Refer to the Scan Tool Manufacturer for Expanded Diagnostic Protocol instructions. Enter characters in string exactly as written in EDP table.
- When finished, turn ignition key to the OFF position.
- Disconnect Generic Scan Tool from vehicle.
