Antitheft Mode Switch: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove ignition key lock cylinder from steering column tube.
3. Locate ignition lock anti-theft switch attached to steering column tube next to ignition key warning switch terminal and wire switch.
4. Slide the ignition lock anti-theft switch off steering column tube.
5. Remove the air bag sliding contact to access the ground location of the ignition lock anti-theft switch.
6. Disconnect ground terminal.
7. Disconnect the ignition lock anti-theft switch from wiring harness.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
