TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS





- Tighten the bolts 1 through 20 in the sequence shown to 8-12 Nm (71-106 ft.lb).






- Tighten the bolts 1 thru 10 in the sequence shown to 22-28 Nm (17-20 ft.lb).






- Tighten the bolts 11 thru 20 in the sequence shown to 37-43 Nm (28-31 ft.lb).






- Tighten the bolts 1 thru 20 in the sequence shown to an additional 85°-95°.







- Turn the ten jack screws until fully seated in the main bearing cap.






- Install and tighten the jack screws in the sequence shown to 9-11 Nm (80-97 in.lb).






- Install and tighten the cross-mounted bolts to 19-23 Nm (14-16 ft.lb).
