Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Drain the fuel tank.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.







3. Remove the fuel tank.

CAUTION: The fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector must be disconnected before the fuel tank removal. Failure to do so can cause damage to the fuel tank or fuel tank pressure sensor.







4. Push down and rotate the fuel tank pressure sensor counterclockwise to remove from the fuel tank.







INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Perform the Evaporative Emission System Leak Test. EVAP System Leak Test
3. Perform the Evaporative Emission Running Loss Monitor Repair Verification Drive Cycle. EVAP Running Loss System Repair Verification
