Power Window Control Module: Description and Operation

The Driver Door Module (DDM) communicates over the J1850 communication network and is located in the driver's door behind the front door trim panel.

For window motion, the DDM verifies the ignition switch is in the RUN or
ACCESSORY position. The DDM receives an Ignition Switch Status message as it is broadcast from the lighting control module.
