Disassembly and Assembly

DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the plenum chamber. For additional information, refer to Plenum Chamber.







2. Remove the screws and remove the electronic blend door actuator.







3. Remove the screws and remove the heater core cover.







4. Remove the heater core.







5. Remove the screws from the panel/floor vacuum control motor.







6. Rotate the vacuum control motor, disengage the lever and remove the vacuum control motor.

CAUTION: Do not attempt to bend any part of the level. It is brittle and will break.







7. Remove the four screws and remove the electronic recirc door actuator.







8. Remove the 14 screws and remove the plenum chamber cover.







9. Remove the temperature blend door.







10. Disengage the lock tab and remove the pivot shaft from the panel/floor door.







11. Remove the panel/floor door from the plenum chamber.







12. Disengage the lock tab and remove the pivot shaft from the air inlet duct door.







13. Remove the air inlet door from the plenum chamber.

ASSEMBLY
1. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
