Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.
Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

LEMON is the spiritual successor to CHARM, I recommend you try it!

Rear Toe Adjustment

1. NOTE: When both the camber and toe are out of adjustment, adjust the camber first.

Check the toe settings; follow the manufacturer's instructions.
^ Use an alignment rack meeting the following specifications.
^ All wheel alignment measurements must be carried out on an alignment rack leveled to within 1.59 mm (1/16 in.) side-to-side and front-to-rear and calibrated to within + 0.1° camber and + 0.3° toe.
^ The instrumentation must be able to compensate for wheel runout and must be able to read individual (LH and RH) toe measurements.

2. Loosen both lower front suspension arm pivot bolts and nuts.

3. Rotate both alignment cams equally in opposite directions until the required setting is obtained.

4. Tighten the nuts.
5. Recheck the toe settings; follow the manufacturer's instructions.
