FLOOR CONSOLE - FRONT

REMOVAL

1. Remove the parts in the order listed in the illustration and table.

Item 1: Bolt Cover Removal Note
1. Make sure the front seats are in the full forward position to remove the covers.

Item 3: Front Console Side Finish Panel Removal Note
1. Make sure the front seats are in the full rearward position to remove the finish panels.
2. Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS).
3. Remove the front console side finish panel, one clip at a time without bending the panel rearward. If the foam gasket pops off the panel, snap the gasket back onto the panel before reinstalling.

Item 6: Shift Control Bezel Removal Note

1. NOTE: The shift control bezel is only partially removed from the floor console to allow removal of the floor console center finish panel.

Depress the tab at the rear of the shift control bezel to release it from the floor console center finish panel.

Item 10: Front Floor Console Removal Note
1. Tilt the console rearward to access the bulkhead electrical connector and disconnect the bulkhead connector.

INSTALLATION







1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
