Normal Operation
Depending on pedal position, the adjustable pedal potentiometer sends a resistance through feed back circuit 1491 (LB/YE) to the DSM; that value is stored in the DSM memory for recalling the position of the adjustable pedals.
Circuit 891 (RD/BK) carries a reference voltage from the DSM to the adjustable pedal potentiometer.
Circuit 894 (GY) carries return voltage from the adjustable pedal potentiometer to the other DSM controlled memory system components.
Possible Causes
^ Adjustable pedal motor feedback circuits 1491 (LB/YE), circuit 891 (RD/BK), or circuit 894 (GY)
^ Driver Seat Module (DSM)
^ Adjustable pedal potentiometer
