With the vehicle in PARK, position on a hoist.

Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Item 4: Transmission Selector Lever Cable Grommet Removal Note 1.
Push the cable grommet through the floor pan.
