Frame Construction - Structural Enhancement, Nylon InsertCAUTION: Higher than expected frame pull pressures may be needed to return the frame to the original position when carrying out a pull in the area of the nylon insert.
NOTE: Portions of the frame are removed from this drawing to show the location of the nylon insert.
The purpose of this insert is to enhance the structural rigidity of the frame in this area. This insert is secured in position with a structural foam. In the event of a collision which requires frame repair in the area of this nylon insert, the following repair procedure should be followed if the nylon insert has broken loose from the frame and a rattle is detected.
