Normal Operation
The driver door module (DDM) receives lock/unlock inputs from the driver door lock control switch, remote transmitter or keyless entry keypad. The DDM sends an SCP message to the rear electronic module (REM) for the lock/unlock function.

The REM receives lock/unlock input from the DDM and the passenger door lock control switch. The REM will then lock/unlock the LH rear door by utilizing circuit 32-AA16 (WH/BK) and circuit 33-AA15 (YE/GN).

Possible Causes
- circuit 32-AA16 (WH/BK) shorted to ground or open
- circuit 33-AA15 (YE/GN) shorted to ground or open
- rear door latch
- REM
