Pinpoint Test M: DTCS C1987/C1988: Yellow EPB Fault Warning Indicator Short To Battery/Circuit Failure

Normal Operation
The yellow EPB system warning lamp (in the EPB switch) will illuminate at prove-out for 3 seconds when the ignition switch is cycled to RUN and will illuminate continuously (even with ignition OFF) when the EPB module has detected a fault in the system and DTCs are present.

Possible Causes
^ EPB module
^ EPB switch
^ BJB fuse 30 (10A)
^ Circuit 75-CG14 (YE/GN)
^ Circuit 31S-CG14 (BK/GN)
