Normal Operation
The windshield wipers are activated by a ground signal sent from the wiper motor through circuit 8-KA5 (WH/BK) to the front electronic module (FEM). After ten seconds of a continuous ground signal from the wiper motor on circuit 8-KA5 (WH/BK), the front electronic module (FEM) illuminates the headlamps.

Possible Causes
- circuit 8-KA5 (WH/BK) open
- FEM
- wiper motor
