Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

WINDSHIELD WASHER PUMP AND RESERVOIR

REMOVAL

1. CAUTION: Do not make electrical connections prior to filling the windshield washer reservoir. Do not operate the windshield washer pump prior to filling the windshield washer reservoir.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Position the RF splash shield aside.







3. Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

Item 1: Windshield Washer Hose Removal Note
1. Windshield washer fluid should be collected in a container after the windshield washer hose is disconnected.

Item 3: Windshield Washer Reservoir Installation Note
1. Do not make electrical connections prior to filling the windshield washer reservoir.
2. Do not operate the windshield washer pump prior to filling the windshield washer reservoir.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
