Removal and Installation
CAUTION: Prior to removal of the vehicle security module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once it is installed. Refer to Information Bus (Module Communications Network).
1. Remove the right rear quarter trim panel.
2. Disconnect the vehicle security module electrical connectors.
3. Remove the 3 screws and the vehicle security module.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Once the module is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module.
