Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Release the fuel system pressure.
3. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
4. Remove the left front wheel well rear splash shield.
5. Disconnect the fuel tube quick connect coupling from the inlet side of the fuel filter.
6. Disconnect the fuel tube spring lock coupling from the outlet side of the fuel filter.

7. CAUTION: Some fuel will remain in the fuel filter after disconnecting. Carefully drain the remaining fuel into a suitable container.

Remove the fuel filter bracket mounting bolt, fuel filter bracket and the fuel filter.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
