Normal Operation
The vehicle security module receives digitally coded inputs from the remote keyless entry (RKE) keypad and operates the locks accordingly. The RKE keypad grounds the selected keypad switch sending a signal to the vehicle security module on circuits 78 (LB/YE), 79 (LG/RD), and 121 (YE/BK). Ground to the RKE keypad is supplied on circuit 57 (BK).

Possible Causes
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- circuit 78 (LB/YE) open or short to ground
- circuit 79 (LG/RD) open or short to ground
- circuit 121 (YE/BK) open or short to ground
- circuit 124 (BR) open
- RKE keypad
- vehicle security module
