Driver Door Module (DDM)

DRIVER DOOR MODULE (DDM)







Removal

NOTE: Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a scan tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed.

1. NOTE: A new DDM is delivered in a manufacturing mode with a pre-set DTC of B2477. This DTC will clear when the module has been successfully configured (or PMI). DTC B2477 may need to be cleared after a successful configuration (or PMI).

Upload the module configuration information from the DDM.

2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Remove the driver door trim panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Remove the bolt and the DDM.

Installation
1. Install the DDM.
- Install the bolt.
- Connect the electrical connectors.

2. Install the driver door trim panel.
3. Connect the battery.

4. NOTE: This step clears the DTC B2477.

Download the module configuration information from the scan tool into the new module.
