Power Trunk / Liftgate Control Module: Service and Repair

LIFTGATE/TRUNK MODULE (LTM)

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the 3 pin-type retainers and the upper trunk trim.







2. Disconnect liftgate/trunk module (LTM) electrical connectors.







3. Remove the rear seat backrest.
4. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connectors.







5. Reposition the sound insulator.







6. NOTE: LTM retainer screws do not need to be removed.

Loosen the LTM retainer screws.







7. Remove the LTM.
8. To install, reverse removal procedure.
