Removal and Installation

NOTE: Do not remove the exterior mirror assembly when repairing an individual part. Individual components can be installed without removing the exterior mirror.

1. Remove the door trim panel.

2. Remove the Driver Door Module (DDM) bolts and position the DDM aside.





3. Disconnect the exterior mirror electrical connector.

4. Pull outward to remove the plastic cover from the door.





5. Remove the exterior mirror jumper harness from the plastic cover.

6. NOTE: Before disconnect the exterior mirror jumper harness push-pin retainers, note the routing of the harness.

Disconnect the exterior mirror jumper harness push-pin retainers from the inside of the door.





7. Remove the 3 exterior mirror nuts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

8. Remove the exterior mirror.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
