Front Roll Restrictor

Removal
Front and rear roll restrictors
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.
Front roll restrictor
2. Remove the 4 retainers and the underbody shield.
3. Remove the through bolt, the 2 bracket bolts and the front roll restrictor.
Rear roll restrictor
4. Remove the exhaust Y-pipe. For additional information, refer to Exhaust System Exhaust Y-Pipe.
5. Remove the 2 nuts and the rear roll restrictor heat shield.
6. Remove the 2 roll restrictor bracket bolts and the through bolt and remove the rear roll restrictor.
Installation
Front and rear roll restrictors
1. Clean the roll restrictor bolts using a wire brush and apply new threadlock to the threads.
Rear roll restrictor
2. Align the roll restrictor bracket on the rear roll restrictor and position the rear roll restrictor bracket and the rear roll restrictor in place and install the bolts.
1. Tighten to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft).
2. Tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).
3. Install the rear roll restrictor heat shield and the 2 nuts.
4. Install the exhaust Y-pipe. For additional information, refer to Exhaust System Exhaust Y-Pipe.
Front roll restrictor
5. Position the front roll restrictor in place and install the bolts.
1. Tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
2. Tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).
6. Install the underbody shield and the 4 retainers.
