Removal and Installation

All vehicles

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Service and Repair.
- Position the water shield aside.

Expedition

2. Remove the 4 nuts and the license lamp housing.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

3. Squeeze the release tabs and remove the video camera and bracket from the license lamp housing.

Navigator

4. Remove the liftgate parking lamps. For additional information, refer to Exterior Lighting Service and Repair.

5. Remove the 6 nuts and the license plate housing.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

6. Remove the 2 screws and the video camera bracket.

All vehicles

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
